Be Phenomenal! Using Natural Phenomena to Drive Inquiry and Engagement in Science

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
In this session, we will explore phenomenon-based learning (the other PBL) and how it can be used to drive NGSS instruction. We will use actual phenomena to practice effective questioning, which can be a starting point for project-based learning, research assignments, or scientific investigations. We will also spend time sharing and exploring resources for finding awesome natural phenomena. While mostly focused on science, the strategies in this session can be used across curricular areas, and all grade levels can benefit!
